Online Music Chart Program
Radio Stations users can log in and record their weekly numeric play information for songs each week.
Submission is saved to a database and at the time that the administrator summarizes the playlist,
their spin counts are multiplied by station's assigned weight factor.
Public:
° A final weekly Top chart ranked by chart points, with total points in one column and total spins in another.
Spins are only for reference. Columns Rank by formula, spins, title, artist, record label, a column indicating the previous week's rank,
and a bullet to indicate upward or downward movement from previous week.
° A lookup or search that allow users to look up any one stations weekly submission by call letters.
° A date lookup similar to station that allow users to lookup past weekly charts by date. The musc database change over time.
Admin area:
° Ability to add reporting stations, edit info on each station, passwords, etc.
Ability to add/edit weighting value to each station a must.
° Ability to add/delete songs/artist/labels from the database. This database would provide
the drop-down or selection options in Section 3 below.
° Ability to look up individual station lists, past charts etc.
Reporting Stations
° Password mailer.
° Individual login and password.
° Ability to manually add song titles/artists.
Online Music Chart Program Project Overview
° Show previous weeks spins and allow them to modify it rather than start from scratch each week.
° A drop box of songs/artists on each of the form lines that allow them to quickly find the song
they want to report, then add in a total number of spins in a box following.
